This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit the Pure Studios website at pure.saauf.xyz, including its documentation. Our products have their own policies: see the Mars Privacy Policy and the Trace License Agreement.
Who we are
The website is run by Pure Studios ("we", "us"). Pure Studios is responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us at saauf@icloud.com or in our Discord server.
What we collect
The website has no forms, comments, analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors. A Pure Account is optional. You only need one to manage products online.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, receives the technical information every browser sends when it loads a page: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and the time. Vercel uses it to deliver the site, keep it secure and investigate abuse, and keeps it for a limited period under its own retention rules.
- Your motion preference. If you press "Pause motion" in the footer, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key
pure-motion. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Fonts, images and the documentation search are served from our own site, so loading a page does not contact any other company. The one exception is your Discord avatar: if you are signed in, it loads from Discord, and its address is kept in your browser's local storage under the key pure-account-avatar. Searching the documentation happens entirely in your browser.
Pure Account
If you sign in at /account, we store:
- Your connected identities. The user ID, username, display name and avatar of each Discord or Roblox account you connect.
- A Discord access token, encrypted, so we can list the servers you manage. We ask Discord for your identity and server list only.
- Your account preferences. Your beta features setting and whether you have seen the welcome tour, so they follow your account.
- A sign-in cookie. One essential cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. We store only a hash of it. A second short-lived cookie protects the sign-in step.
- Changes you make to Mars. Your Discord user ID is kept with each settings change for 30 days.
This data is stored with Supabase. You can download your data, remove a connection or delete your Pure Account at any time from Account Settings. Deleting erases your connections, tokens and sessions.
Links to other services
The site links to services we do not run, such as Discord, Roblox, the Roblox Developer Forum and Google Drive (where Trace downloads are hosted). When you follow those links, the other service's privacy policy applies.
Why we process it
We rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) for server logs. The motion preference is stored only because you asked for it.
Where it is processed
Vercel, Inc. is based in the United States and may process server logs outside the European Economic Area. Vercel protects these transfers with the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal data, object to its processing, or receive a copy of it. Contact us at saauf@icloud.com. Because we do not identify visitors, we may need details such as the time of your visit and your IP address to find any records.
You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, uodo.gov.pl).
Children
The website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be announced in our Discord server.
